I wanted to get a new kitchen fitted which was going to be a complete rip out of the old one and install of the new one including various other work such as, removing of old wall paper and wall tiles,the removal of a stud partition wall,replacing skirting boards,replacing and making good ceiling coving,moving electric sockets and switches,plastering,new tiling and also the gas pipe in the kitchen to be re located. I received quotes from various kitchen suppliers and fitters of which some were close to the price I had in mind but just didn’t hit the mark. there was always further costs required down the road such as the oven,extractor fan, splash back and flooring. I then stumbled across Cotterell carpentry on the web and got Paul to give me a quote which he did within a couple of days. I then explained to him the problem i had about the oven etc and within another couple of days he came back to me with a price to complete the entire project including all the extras that i wanted. to say i was pleased would be an understatement. Pauls quote was spot on and the project was his. we agreed a starting date and i left the rest to him to organise. Paul turned up bright and early on the first day and was followed shorlty behind by the delivery of the new kitchen. it took seven days from start to finish to complete the project. paul was hard working and friendly and often stayed a bit later in order to get things done.

A friend recommended Cotterell Carpentry as Paul had designed and fitted their kitchen with minimum fuss or hassle. I am now the proud owner of a beautiful bespoke, hand painted kitchen! True to his word, Paul designed and executed the entire project with efficiency, ability and no fuss. Everything was left clean and tidy each day and i was never without a functioning kitchen.

The end result was exactly what I dreamed of.

When we wanted a new kitchen we went to Homebase and were shocked by their quote. Installation alone came to £4000 !!  A friend who had work done by Cotterell Carpentry put us in contact with Paul Cotterell and he totally ‘smashed’ the price of Homebase.

For less than £6000 we got our dream kitchen that included installation ,sink , taps , hob, oven, chimney hood, dishwasher, tiling, the services of a qualified electrician, plumber, and decorator and we even had laminate flooring put in the lounge. The job was started on the day we were told it was going to start and finished on the day we were told it was going to be finished. It was carried out professionally and with minimum disruption to us.

Cotterell Carpentry definitely made our dream kitchen affordable and in the future ,when we need a bedroom installing, we won’t hesitate to go back to Cotterell Carpentry.
